MOLLY BURDETT IS AN AWARD WINNING DIRECTOR & PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN LONDON
Human stories have always motivated Molly. Real people, real emotion, and voices that aren't always heard.
A graduate of Chelsea College of Art, Molly's award-winning documentary LOVE BIRDS was recognised by the BFI and Underwire Festival. She went on to direct six music videos for Arlo Parks, helping shape the visual identity around a Grammy-winning album, before creating acclaimed campaigns for Women's Aid and the Mayor of London.
Her breakthrough film, Have a Word, tackled toxic masculinity and violence against women, amassing over 307 million views, and helping to drive an £18 million UK government investment into combating violence against women. The campaign won a Glass Cannes Lion, D&AD White Pencil, Graphite for Direction and British Arrows Impact Award. Molly also won the Frank Budgen Award for directing in 2023. The film was later adopted by both the national curriculum and the United Nations as a global training resource.
Most recently, her short film A Loud Piece of Armour, starring Jo Hartley and shot by Robbie Ryan, was selected for the 2025 Palm Springs International ShortFest.
Named one of Televisual's Top 10 Directors and recently selected to direct Adidas' global women's football campaign, Molly continues to build work rooted in honesty, rawness and a fascination with people, while expanding into longer-form storytelling.
